The sandhills in Hòa Thắng commune, Bắc Bình district, Bình Thuận province is a good sightseeing for tourists and photographers, backpackers... Sandhills Lương Sơn are not so high as those in Mũi Né, Phan Thiết but plentiful in numbers with different sizes, shapes and lengths.
Legend has it that under Lê dynasty (Lê Lợi), the locals built sanddams as protection-walls. These dams between water-ponds are 4km long and 400m wide and divided into the outerside Bàu Ông (Mr. wall), the inside Bàu Bà (Mrs.wall) smaller, then bàu con, bàu cháu (children walls and grandchildren walls). The wind and rain have made the sand-surface more beautiful in shapes, curves. There are here ponds of lotus, water lilies, spinach... round the sandhills...
Lương Sơn landscapes are very beautiful and the natural scene is very good for photographers. Visitors will feel quite at ease and tranquil. Funs like tug-of-war, run-and-catch, sand-sliding... are very attractive for people of all age.
Lương Sơn countryside is homely and the villagers are very modest, sincere and hospitable. Photographs taken of the scene and sandhills have won prizes at home and abroad.
A few kilometers from Lương Sơn is the sea and 37km further will be Hòn Rơm, Mũi Né, Phan Thiết where the Hồng stream and sandhills meet. The roads have got asphalted, wide and fine, very convenient for travelers.
Lương Sơn is an ideal sightseeing spot and a good place for photographers. The region is under new construction and renovation but preserve the natural beauty. It will be surely an attractive destination for all.
